ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE RELATED SKILLS TEACHERS IN TEACHING STUDENTS WITH LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN OFFICE ADMINISTRATION CLASS XII SMK NEGERI SURABAYA

The teacher is one of the human component in teaching and learning play an important role in improving the quality of national education. To face the globalization era that is full of competition, it takes a teacher who is able to manage the learning process in an effective and innovative print for students who excel. But in reality, there are students that are less able to capture the information conveyed by the teacher only because of the limited level of teacher skills in teaching. This of course will hurt students in their learning activities and impact on student achievement itself.
The purpose of this research is to find out how much the level of teacher skills in teaching and Office Administration student achievement levels of grade XII of Office Administration at SMK Negeri Surabaya. And to know the relationship of teachers skills in teaching with the Office Administration student achievement XII Office Administration class at SMK Negeri Surabaya.
This research is a kind of associative research-causal and quantitative descriptive analysis. The population in this study is the administration offices are all teachers in SMK Surabaya, amounting to 33 people. Sampling was done with saturated sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is the technique of descriptive statistical analysis with percentages analysis and Spearman rank correlation.
The results showed that there is a relationship between the independent variables are the skills of teachers in the teaching of Office Administration (X) with the dependent variable is student achievement (Y) in SMK Negeri Surabaya was 0.725. Value of 0.725 indicating a strong relationship between teachers' skills in teaching and student learning achievement.
